Meet Rebecca
M.A., Licensed Professional Counselor
Does life ever feel like a rollercoaster to you? Sometimes it’s thrilling and fun, other times, overwhelming and a bit too much. I’m Rebecca (you can also call me Becky), a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas, and I specialize in supporting individuals across all walks of life who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, intrusive thoughts, past or current traumas, relationship distress, and big life transitions.
I believe everyone has a story to share that makes them beautifully unique. Experiences can shape who we believe ourselves to be without us even realizing the impact of it all, often skewing our perceptions of our true self. Our situations and our relationships can also leave us feeling hurt, disappointed, fearful, angry, depressed, apathetic/unmotivated, and so much more. I understand how difficult, confusing, and uncomfortable it can be to feel conflicting emotions simultaneously. Over the years, I’ve gotten to witness many individual’s healing, growth, and restoration; it is an absolute honor and joy to hear them proclaim “I’m proud of myself and can see how far I’ve come.” This can be a part of your story too.
With nearly a decade of experience, I offer counseling that is warm and grounded - a safe space where we can work together as a team to process, regulate, and help you build confidence to be your whole self. I have had the privilege of working in various settings as a counselor within private practices, non-profits, and church counseling centers and have experience working with a range of clients - from children, adolescents, young adults, to engaged and married couples.
